Thomas Molesworth
Managing Director (MD)
Thomas is responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive team culture, setting and managing the overarching goals of the team, along with liaising with sponsors, the University, and the public.

Caleb Frew
Administrative Director (AD)
Caleb is responsible for keeping and maintaining all administrative records of UQ Space, managing correspondence, and ensuring effective communication both within and outside the team.

Taylor Bridger
Technical Director (TD)
Taylor is responsible for the management and oversight of all projects and programs within the team, ensuring competition deadlines and requirements are met.

Financial Director (FD)
Tom is responsible for managing the team’s finances, ranging from working with subteams to create budgets to preparing and lodging annual accounts.

Lead Aerostructures Engineer
The Aerostructures team is responsible for the structural components of our rockets and rovers, such as the airframe, bulkheads, chassis and suspension.

Isaac Ziebarth
Lead Avionics Engineer
The Avionics team is responsible for the electronics in our rockets and rovers, such as the flight computers, batteries, sensors and computers.

Yogansh Bhalla
Lead Payload Engineer
The Payload team designs scientific experiments and instruments for our rockets and rovers, including CubeSats, CanSats, soil sampling systems and spectroscopy instruments. -

Tom Condon
Lead Propulsion Engineer
The Propulsion team is responsible for the flight dynamics of our rockets, including motor selection, design of our Hybrid Motor, trajectory simulations and computational fluid dynamics.

Lead Recovery Engineer
The Recovery team is responsible for the design and manufacturing of the recovery systems for our rockets, such as parachutes, separation systems and simulations.

Lead Systems Engineer
The Systems team is responsible for the overarching system design and management of our projects, including systems integration, requirement definition and systems testing.

The operations team is responsible for the operational framework and documentation that support testing and competitions, along with organising our outreach program, administrative support and logistics.
