As an engineering team within The University of Queensland, UQ Space has a significant presence amongst future engineers and industry experts. With members ranging from aerospace, mechanical, chemical, electrical and computer engineering, in addition to business, marketing and international relations, UQ Space is a diverse society. In addition to their degrees, our members spend their free time working on complex research and development projects in multidisciplinary teams, preparing them to excel in their respective fields, subsequently; a connection to our students can effectively promote the recruitment of future talent.
Every year our rockets become larger, more complex and filled with new innovations. Naturally, none of this would be possible without the continued support from our partners, who help turn our ideas to technical drawings, our simulations to tests and assist us in creating our equipment and hardware.
