Project Vesta was entered into the 2024 AURC competition in the 5,000 ft / 1.524 km category. Despite the competition changes resulting in no launches taking place, Vesta placed first in the 5,000 ft category and UQ Space placed first in the overall competition.

Vesta was also entered into the 2025 AURC competition held at White Cliffs, NSW, the first competitive in-person launch event held in Australia since 2020. Vesta once again placed 1st in the category, flying to 4,239 and recovering successfully under a student researched and developed main parachute.
