Project Athena was UQ Space’s 10,000ft / 3.05km competition rocket for the Australian Universities Rocket Competition in 2019.

Built entirely by the UQ Space team of 2018/2019, Athena I won first place in the 10,000ft. category and scored 231.5 out of 250 points; achieving the Overall 1st position in the AURC.

Project Athena was the very first rocket completely manufactured by the team. From composite fins to the CNC-milled components of the C02 recovery system.
